TAE Championships 2024

TAE Championships are being held at Gateshead International Stadium on the 26th October 2024.

All entries must be in by the 11th October by completing he online form here

Patterns 
Pattern of choice up to you grade 

Black belts - 1 designated pattern up to their grade (2 designated patterns in the finals)  

Sparring 
All entrants who want to compete in the sparring must have their own sparring equipment including :
  • Headguard
  • Feet Pads (kicks) 
  • Gloves (closed fingered)
  • Groin Guard (Male) 
  • Mouth Guard 
  • Shin Guards (Under 12s) 
  • Body Armour - Optional (Under 12s)
If you require any additional sparring equipment please contact your instructor. 

Special Technique 
Overhead Kick - Twimyo Nopi Chagi (exchange kick) 
Males & Females competing together - by height category.

Power Test (Green belts & above - 14 years & over)

Pre Arranged Sparring 
Entries of similar age and grade. 
Routines should be between 45 – 60 seconds long and will only be allowed to have two acrobatic moves and two slow motions moves in total. Routines will be judged on technical content, choreography, teamwork, difficulty and power.
